This is Nick. He works at a hardware store, he finished work at noon because they have to split shifts due to the economy. He was walking by as I was taking a photo of the back of the loveseat and told me that I should be taking a picture of the front of the loveseat because it was so beautiful. Nick was very talkative and initiated the conversation. He told me that his second cousin was a furniture upholsterer and he had made a good living for himself and his family. His second cousin is still alive, but "the kids have taken over the house." Nick said how he loved walking into a house in the 1950's and a loveseat would accompany a larger sofa creating a beautiful space. I could tell Nick had a lot of respect for his second cousin, he continued about how much patience it took to reupholster furniture. Lastly, I don't eat chicken but for those of you who do, Nick recommends Dinah's Chicken (Dinah's Fried Chicken) in Glendale on San Fernando Road, he swears it's the best around.
