Mi casa es su casa. My house is your house. From July 14, 2010 through August 14, 2010 I will be documenting home items which are placed on the street within the following city blocks: Western Ave. eastward to Vermont Ave. and between Franklin Ave. south to Fountain Ave. in Los Angeles. This project is an investigation of how we treat our surroundings, the disposable nature of goods and the sociological and environmental implications of how we live within a community.

After: Same toilet as above photographed today on August 3, 2010. The porcelain fixture is still in the same place and apparently being used as the neighborhood trash receptacle. Would you consider this recycling or next best use?
